Romance is alive at Appalachian Lodge
Stargazers Designs recently teamed up with some great industry professionals to do a styled shoot at a new venue in the area, Appalachian Lodge at River's Bend in Marshall NC. The shoot showcases the romantic look of colorful floral, the stunning backdrop of the mountains surrounding the lodge and the talents of amazing photographers, planner, make up/hair stylist and cake artist.
To achieve this beautiful look we decided on a bright spring color palette filled with anemone, garden roses, thistle, ranuculas, wax flower, astilbe, Queen Anne's lace and lots of mixed textural greens including plumosa & eucalyptus. They all came together in a gorgeous hand tied organic bouquet that accented the classic beauty of the wedding gown and lovely model. Remember to take in to account when choosing your wedding flowers how they will accent the entire look you want including the coloring of the dress and the backdrop of your venue. Every piece comes together to give the finished look of romance and elegance while having that rustic, mountain scene to surround and emphasize the vision. Choose your venue carefully. Don't just think of it in terms of the amount of space you need for your guests. Take the time when visiting the venues to look at the whole picture. Remember that will be the backdrop for all your photos of your wedding day too!
